This summer, China's inbound tourism continues to grow, with Beijing's Badaling Great Wall welcoming a large number of international visitors. The site, famous for the saying "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man," attracts increasing numbers of global tourists to experience this iconic landmark.
To enhance visitor experiences, the scenic area has launched multiple international-friendly services: ticket offices accept cash, mobile payment, and international bank card payments; mobile ticketing platforms allow foreign tourists to purchase tickets using passports or permanent residence permits; multilingual environment improvements include standardized bilingual emergency, navigation, and safety signs to ensure smooth visits for non-Chinese speaking guests.
China currently implements unilateral visa exemptions or mutual visa exemptions for citizens of 75 countries, while 55 countries enjoy transit visa exemptions. Visitors can enter through 60 designated ports nationwide with maximum stay durations extended to 240 hours (10 days), significantly facilitating travel to China.
